Google has been testing out a new feature called AMPA stories, this new format will allow publishers to post tap through pieces of content on google that can be linked to from literally anywhere on the web. Importantly unlike the stories on Instagram and Snapchat google AMP can be viewed from outside of the ecosystem they are posted on.
Google have created this by building them in HTML on web pages that are built on the technical infrastructure of AMP. Importantly for digital marketing companies this allows them to be indexed by google search on mobile and rendered instantly
