Facebook have just released a new form of timeline posts that enable users to create individual lists and post them to their timeline for the first time.

Facebook have recently announced their plans to encourage users to share content 'inside' facebook rather than reverting to the standard habit of posting content from outside sources to facebook timelines and groups. The facebook ecosystem is according to facebook set to be the ideal place to share the native content that can be added to an individuals list on their timeline. The digital marketing World has been busy debating this new facebook feature and the overriding result is that users will continue to share interesting content they discover around the web despite facebook's intentions to subtly discourage this trend. There has however been some grumble amongst intrepid digital marketing boffins who believe facebook may have introduced this new feature in the hope of getting yet more personal information from users to sell onto advertisers.
